Firstly there's not much water in the desert. Secondly you're customers are not likely to be in the desert either which makes power deployment nearer so quicker. In terms of hot regions I wouldn't be surprised to see them go underground. Accessible but still underground to avoid midday Sun. That's what they do in Australia with an entire town called Coober Pedy. There are so many variables for example a military data center might need to be fortified. It all depends on who your customer is and MTi is targeting smaller cities because that's the sweet spot for quickest deployment.
