No disrespect intended, Good Sport, however, you may be overlooking two key points.
Dr. Alan Hauser enjoys a prestigious reputation in his field of expertise. In my opinion, it would make no sense for him to jeopardize his reputation by attaching his good name to a worthless company with no prospects for success, just for a few measely dollars. No, he believed in the value of HDC's IP, and he accepted the challenge to monetize this potential.
The second point is that I believe HDC wooed him, and not the other way around.
I actually believe that he had a plan and a strategy in place before he ever accepted this position. I further believe that he had to show credible and significant progress toward implementing this plan in order to have his contract renewed. JMHO.
