I only was able to muster 4 times my buying power, but it allowed me to move in and move out of trades so much quicker. There was a time, way back into my old AOL phone service that I had to basically log out of one account and then power up my computer to log into another account to make a day trade. Talk about a strange way to make a trade, but it was 1990, and actual day trading was very new.

Then one of my buddies got me to get my Datek account, it was like stepping into a really fast car for the first time and discovering what it was like to press the button and move quickly.

It is all called American Capitalism, some people make money one-way, whole others make it another way. In America the true trick is to make enough money to make yourself lifestyle as comfortable as you want it to be.

Like you I have one billionaire friend, lives in New York City, because that is his choice, many others that have achieved their own American dream. We touch base and see one another every once in a while. We have all had families, children, grandchildren, and experienced the ups and down of life. That is America, to come here and find your version of freedom.
