I know from my life, President Obama brought the American economy back much quicker than I thought anyone could do. The 2007-08 financial meltdown scared the shit out of me, I thought America was goi8ng to be in serious trouble for years. Within Obama's first year the economy did not fall off a cliff, and instead it slowly kept coming back.

Eight years later President Biden brought the country back, but Republicans ran trump on the theme that the economy should grow faster than 2.8 %. Trump barely achieved that, and instead his policies began to slow down the American economy while the wealthy began to gain.
