I strongly disagree with your assessment of adjusted earnings here.

I think there are for the most part two types of people either people that take the company's adjusted EPS and assume those numbers are correct, or those that adjusted EPS is fantasy land. With all do respect I think both position are completely wrong. You have to look at every line item and think about it.

Did you look at what they claim is adjusted EPS, or did you say adjusted EPS, that is fantasy land and not even bother to look?

Look at the items
The biggest Item Debt extinguishment and modification cost. This is one time in nature, you won't see this next quarter in gaap earnings in my opinion.
Secondly Amortization there two make up the majority of the costs to get to adjusted earnings we are writing down and Intangible asset, this isn't a drug company either, there is nothing coming off patent here. Amortization is the dumbest expense in history.
The company took a full tax rate. No games being played there either.

To me the .28 is completely accurate. But than again what in the world do I know. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
