A ruling is likely several weeks, if not some months away, and the tariffs remain in place at least until that time. Until then, and until all the dust settles after the ruling, we won't know what, if any, impact there will be. From what I've read, there are a number of other avenues for the administration to pursue, one of which is for a simple majority in Congress to enact retroactive authority or tariffs. While the previous administration attempted to set a precedent for ignoring rulings and implementing illegal workarounds to provide one-time handouts, this administration is more likely to pursue a solution that is well supported by law and secures long-term financial benefits for the country.
