It's written in a classy wordsmith fun way, for sure. Here there could have been a mention of Trump considering a tour labelled something like "Visit Gaza in America" or "See parts of Ukraine" until the idea was reluctantly discarded on account of worries about crowd control.

No president has been so disengaged from a government shutdown and its harrowing implication for the 42 million Americans who will be deprived of food stamps this Saturday.
