Nothing is "off". They already announced the deal is expected to close by the end of 2025.
Something will definitely be off if it isn't done by Dec. 31, 2025!
Patience is a virtue applies in this case imho.

A change in company control is currently underway. The terms of this change are currently being
negotiated.
This change is expected to be completed by end of year 2025.
