A little while ago, CNN did an interview with Dana Bash, on the occasion of her receiving an award. She's been a CNN for 32 years now.

Among other things, she offered her single best piece of advice for everyone and everything in life: "Don't be an asshole." She instilled it in her children, and stands by it herself.

I think she's absolutely right. It's fabulous advice.
