After a private phone chat with a friend just now -- and this is pure opinion here -- this Ball Arena thing is likely an advertising/exposure move, being in the Ball Arena for the 'prestige' (to whatever extent that is).
The reason I say this is my speculative question: how much money could they actually be making with that venue? After all, it's not like a regular restaurant open from lunch to late dinner time. They are only open during event time, on whatever days those are.
My friend related that his son was opening something in a similar venue somewhere else, and those arenas (I'll call it that) require a 5-year lease. Therefore, Nixon must have the cash-flow to support his operations there. If he didn't why would the Ball Arena take him in, if his business operations books show him always on the brink of disaster?
