Thanks Mr. Louie_Louie. I have high regards for your pricipled perspective.

Trump could throw a wrench in their plans though and release the Obama garbage. I think the only thing stoppping Trump from releasing the Obama docs is that they implicate Republicans in this theft. Which one's would you think? and are they worth protecting?

In so far as the Obama Docs, or any Docs Trump's withheld from public scrutiny, I will speculate that Trump is calculating his advantages of holding the cards close to his chest versus allowing public square scrutiny to serve his purposes 😉 I also think of batches of withheld Docs are akin to cans of worms which would benefit nobody to open all at once, LOL! I really don't view the man known for saying, "You're FIRED!", worrying much about protecting people close to him or of his "tribe". If anything, he polices them more rigorously IMO.
