You are ignoring the law completely. The president suggested he was open to envoking the innsurection act. You also need to understand the defintion of innsurrection.

an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

I would say there have been a shit load of innsurrections over the past 60 plus years in the United States. You have to strip out the political bias to get to the source. Do that first...then analyze. This same argument applies to January 6th. Then when you get it-you will see that not all innsurrections are equal. I would say the largest most recent insurrection(plural) came from the BLM protests/riots.

But, if all sins are equal....any mass revolt against an institution and law would be equal. And so it goes.........
