The DEMAND for (Christian &/or) faith-based wholesome family-films in The United States is STRONG & GROWING. Evolving from a niche market to a significant Box Office & Streaming contender according to market data. More major platforms & studios are investing in this area because films which intentionally present moral, value-centric &/or virtuous themes appear to be gaining traction with DEVOUT Faith-Centric Families & audiences clearly hungry for this type of content. You'll note: Wildfire has a PASTOR role in the film -- as well as a Cherokee Spiritualist.

This GROWING "market" tends to be highly loyal & mobilizing the Evangelical/Christian Community (particularly in the U.S. South & Midwest) into theaters. And more recent data shows consumers increasingly downloading off streaming platforms at home as well. This market segment actively seeks films/entertainment that AFFIRMS their Principles, Family Values & Faith!

In addition, this audience is often reached through inexpensive grassroots, word of mouth & direct-to-church marketing. People supporting these films appear to be moving away from those explicitly containing violence, vulgarity, sex, sexual undertones, etc., in favor of films which emphasize universal positive values, morality, simple wholesome FAMILY-FRIENDLY content: Especially those about perseverance, redemption, overcoming adversity -- & typically WITHOUT heavy religious language -- are increasing performing well. "Safe", "value affirming", & NOT overtly Religious or Preachy Dramas appear to be meeting a need/demand for these families -- & provide the right mainstream counter-programming these more conservative families & customers want.

The film Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse is generally received as a HEARTWARMING, FAMILY-FRIENDLY drama centered on redemption & forgiveness. It's considered a moral, family faith-based film because its central plot involves a young girl, Samantha (Chevel Shepard: 2015 WINNER of The Voice) who is dealing with deep guilt (survivors guilt) over her parents death; and actively seeks forgiveness & healing. The story EXPLICITLY incorporates Christian & moral themes by having Samantha seek guidance from both a Cherokee Spiritual Leader & a local pastor; blending Universal Spiritual Traditions & Concepts like humility, solace, and truth with Christian Values of FOREGIVENESS & ACCEPTANCE following a familial tragedy.
