Unless IONQ was started with In-Q-Tel money and owned by the usual suspects it may go the way of telecoms that pioneered the internet and fiberoptic space that were bankrupted during the dotcom bubble burst (timed no doubt for maximum damage to early stakeholders). SOE scavengers picked up the pieces and early adopters were wiped out. Extreme caution is advisable. Could be different this time due to unknown time constraints. SOE's could just print enough money to buy out IONQ (if it hasn't been done already).
