Not all of this is "OLD NEWS" sorry I am unable to boil disparate facts down to a simplistic point.

1. The government will maintain control. This was stated initially and continues to be reinforced.

2. No release from conservatorship IMO. Why? Because control is direct rather than as a regulator. Additionally, the conservatorship IMO has completed the lawsuit victories and anti-injunction will dissipate with exit.

3. The government is "monetizing the balance sheet" which means non-government shareholders have very limited upside. Unless I missed this, that is the first public statement regarding the tactic.

Here are some "old news" that "everyone on this board" has testified: IPO...not true, SPO most probably, "merger" finally shook out today with a new? plural on a tweet, "Taking Public" was always a sketchy term, "Holding company"...sorry what did I miss that probably wasn't actually news?
