40 seconds of that video was enough to expect the rest would be a self serving plate of false, sanctimonious self-righteousness from the political right, as the first 40s are.

I don't know if any decent analysis has been done yet, but am confident that original applause, laughing et al at Kirk's death would be a relatively minor portion of internet content.

I emphasize original because undoubtedly a good percentage of what your conservative misinformation guy claims to have 'lit up' the internet would have been done by right-wing supported bots.

it's just the way it has been, considerably more so since Trump came into the political scene.
