I'd guess he won't resign .. President Donald Trump is set to appear for a press conference on Tuesday, the White House announced. Trump's weeks-long absence from press interactions has sparked rumors about his health, especially amid his recent diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). The President's long-awaited presser is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Oval Office.

More likely use it to coax out sympathy for himself (CVI is pretty common i think, might even have some myself) and to laugh at those who were wondering where he was. And to rally the troops by piling on all but his cult membership.
