Offered a golden parachute @ 55 but upon crunching numbers waited till 57. Never looked back! That was 2012 and daughter was graduating same year. The extra years gave me another longevity bump of 5% and bought two years of service credit for military time served. No regrets! Couldn't buy the 100k RV but found another B+ for about 30K less. Still drive cars 20+ years old and they run fine. If NLST hits the kids will get a gift they don't know about and we will take a World Cruise before the the next World War starts.
