A quick update. I'll actually be travelling and unable to take phone calls until end of September, so I called in to check on things with E-Trade. They had given the transfer agent their new and correct address for the DRS and the transfer agent confirmed she received that on the 20th. So now we are waiting for her to send the DRS (hopefully it has already happened, but of course the department that receives it no one can speak to directly). I'm still really hopeful because at least now things are moving, albeit slowly.
That being said, it will probably happen - if it happens - when I'm gone. But if problems arise, I won't be able to follow up until the third week of September.
So stay patient...lol, we can't do anything with the shares for another year anyway...but I feel really confident E-Trade will get this sorted out soon.
