The cataracts could have been just because of old age, not the injections.
However, I would assume the infections and retinal detachment are due to injections. Retinal detachment is serious, athough sometimes it can fix itself, but that's what leaky blood causes in wet AMD, so in this case it seems like the cure is no different than the disease.
It would be interesting to see the comparable statistics for the placebo group.
