The revelation that Kanye West campaign insider Milo Yiannopoulos charged the Marjorie Taylor Green congressional campaign $7,000 for the purchase of Ye24.com — the website of the Nazi-loving rapper’s prospective 2024 presidential campaign — is rotten news for the MAGA lawmaker from Georgia.

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, former President Donald Trump hosted white supremacist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, at his Mar-a-Lago home. Trump’s willingness to associate with figures who have repeatedly spread antisemitic and white supremacist tropes is deeply concerning and has not gone unnoticed by extremists.

Fuentes, a white supremacist and rabid misogynist who attended the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, has repeatedly spread racist and antisemitic conspiracy theories. Despite his history of antisemitism, he has forged alliances with a variety of far-right figures, including some GOP officials.

Ye, who announced his bid for the presidency two days after having dinner with Trump, has been embroiled in controversy for weeks after making numerous antisemitic and other inflammatory remarks. He was briefly locked out of his social media accounts and lost his partnerships with Gap, Adidas and Balenciaga.

In the days following the dinner, Trump attempted to distance himself from Ye and Fuentes, writing on Truth Social, “This past week, Kanye West called me to have dinner at Mar-a-Lago. Shortly thereafter, he unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about...The dinner was quick and uneventful.” In a follow-up post, Trump said, “We got along great, he [Ye] expressed no anti-Semitism, & I appreciated all of the nice things he said about me on “Tucker Carlson.” Why wouldn’t I agree to meet? Also, I didn’t know Nick Fuentes.”

Many prominent Groypers, a network of white supremacists who support Nick Fuentes, have abandoned former President Trump in favor of Ye’s 2024 presidential campaign. Several prominent Groypers changed their social media handles to signal the shift. Tim Gionet (aka Baked Alaska), changed his Telegram handle on November 24, 2022, to “Baked YE24 Alaska.” Other Groypers, like Tyler Russell and Steve Franssen, have done the same.

Groypers argue that Ye is more aligned with their “Christian values,” versus Trump, who has voiced strong support for Israel. Groyper live streamer Matt Evans (aka Beardson Beardly) explained on Telegram, “If I have to compare Christian values, Ye is miles ahead for me right now. I’d love to see Trump fully embrace Christian conservatives in this country, and I hope he does, but until then, it’s YE24.”

During his November 26, 2022, livestream, Fuentes stated that the America First movement must distance itself from former President Donald Trump “to move forward in the service of Christ, in service of the truth, and service of America.”

Ok, so Loomer, extreme Islamophobia, violently pro-Israel, while Greene not quite so much an Israel apologist. Both avid Christians, and far right conservatives (overlaps and differences aren't so easy from this far away. ) And Fuentes the far right white nationalist Christian guy, holocaust denier and Hitler supporter who Ye brought to the Trump dinner who, true or not, Trump said he didn't know. On Sunday, The Texas Tribune published photos of Fuentes at the headquarters of Pale Horse Strategies, where he spent nearly 7 hours on Friday. Pale Horse is owned by Jonathan Stickland, a former state representative who also leads Defend Texas Liberty — a political action committee that two West Texas oil billionaires have used to give millions of dollars to right-wing candidates, including Attorney General Ken Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.

The meeting — which has set off a firestorm at the Texas Capitol this week — is Fuentes’ most high-profile, known rendezvous since he dined with former President Donald Trump last year, drawing widespread condemnation. His appearance in Texas comes as antisemitic and racist violence continues to skyrocket in the state and nationally.

Here’s what to know about Fuentes:

Fuentes, 25, often praises Adolf Hitler and questions whether the Holocaust happened. He has called for a “holy war” against Jews and compared the 6 million killed by the Nazis to cookies being baked in an oven. He wants the U.S. government under authoritarian, “Catholic Taliban rule,” and has been vocal about his disdain for women, Muslims, the LGBTQ+ community and others.

So because Fuentes is extreme of extreme, that's why, when he turned up to
the Trump dinner with Ye, Loomer accused Greene of setting Trump up
because the dinner was arranged by Greene's former campaign guy
whom apparently she was still paying. Think i have it now.

And Loomer and Greene jealous of each other and vying for Trump's favoritism.

Far-right influencer Laura Loomer lashed out at Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia on Monday after Greene suggested Loomer is "bankrolled" by Israeli intelligence.

The feud between the two—both of whom are staunch allies of President Donald Trump—stems from their disagreements about the Trump administration's policy toward Israel and continued U.S. support for Israel's devastating military assault on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Loomer and Greene's attacks quickly became personal, culminating in Loomer calling the Georgia congresswoman a "low life degenerate," questioning her Christian faith, hurling misogynistic insults at her and criticizing her physical appearance.

Newsweek reached out to Greene's office for comment via email on Monday.

Why It Matters

Greene and Loomer are among the loudest voices in the pro-Trump political and media sphere. But they've locked horns over U.S. policy vis-à-vis Israel, with Loomer advocating for continued U.S. backing of the Israeli government, while Greene embraces a more anti-interventionist stance on Israel-Hamas as well as hotbeds of conflict like the Russia-Ukraine war.

Greene has publicly broken with the Trump administration over Israel multiple times in the last few weeks and recently became the first Republican lawmaker to refer to the Israeli government's actions in Gaza as a "genocide." Loomer, on the other hand, has called for the Trump administration to crack down on pro-Palestinian protests and equated criticism of the Israeli government with antisemitism.

What To Know

The fight between Loomer and Greene played out on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, after Loomer attacked Florent Groberg, a decorated soldier and Medal of Honor recipient, who backed Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. Loomer said Groberg did not deserve to be celebrated because he spoke at the 2016 Democratic National Convention as a private citizen and was not "US born."

Greene posted a screenshot to X showing that Loomer had blocked her and wrote, "What a coward."
