Based on the available information, the CUSIP number 09072Q106 is not considered "active" in the traditional sense of a publicly traded stock.

Here's why:
Bankruptcy and Delisting: BioAmber Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May 2018. As a result, its stock was delisted from both the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). This means the shares are no longer traded on a major public exchange.

Liquidation: The company initiated a liquidation process, selling off its assets to other companies. Reports indicate that this process resulted in little to no residual value for non-secured creditors and no value for equity investors (stockholders).

So, while the CUSIP number still exists as an identifier for the now-defunct company's common stock, it is not "active" in the way a CUSIP for a currently traded security is.

So it isn't an asset - are you going to wait another 7 years waiting for the big payout.
