Patience is key here imo. As Citrati mentioned, the algos and all the other market hoopla drives the momentum along with the market in most cases. Each MA is a testing point. There are plenty of different support levels just as there are for resistance. Clearly, to me, there are those locking in profits as suggested by the volume. When the volume starts slowing and the price starts stabilizing, I'll be looking for this to firm up for a reversal.
That's just my way of looking at this.

I've seen MANY gaps go unfilled. And that's how some get left in the dust. I like to eyeball a target and if it hits I buy a chunk, if I'm wrong and it does get to that gap? I'll take on what I can for my risk.
