Cohen hasn't wasted a dime on a dry hole. He keeps hitting oil. He's got some pretty big announcements coming here, in paperwork mode now. I know it's tough but a little patience will go a long way!  The company sold 1,300 barrels in the month of July (first real month of CAPEX and reworks, averaged 40 barrels a day). This is viewable and verifiable on the Texas Railroad Commission website.  More importantly, the company's production was back weighted in the last 2 weeks of the month where they started seeing the production uplift average 80 barrels a day.
Cohen wants to see production of at least 250 barrels by December. He just hired the group that led all of the Reperforation and production optimization exercises on the Apache (now Hilcorp) and Oxy leases that are directly north and are direct neighbors of Cohens fields.
Cohen has been addressing the railroad commission. Issues to unsever the leases, and they feel confident that they are close - until then they have to holdback on production optimization efforts on the affected leases.
