The tank in price had to come from somewhere.
From the days when Germany was dumping their 10m BTC coins last 2 years, you could predict their moves on any daily chart. Boy they screwed up on that move.

That would be a bone head level screw up as if Trump sold the gold in Fort Knox to fund the war in Ukraine. And not get any kick backs!

I'm sure there is away to see what wallets are holding. Like a T/A holding stocks held in brokers names. They still don't see the individuals positions, like the info an E-trade holds. E trade holds the individual ids, no one can get that but the imperial government through suponea powers.
I bet it's has to be something like that.
All my chit is in Coinbase. Been like that going on 10 years. Never had an issues but forgetting my password once after years of ignoring it. So much has changed since then.
Like the first PCs, it just needed a purpose to take off and wow! Did it.
