WHR Those tariff tailwinds turned into headwinds last Q as foreign appliance makers rushed appliances into the USA to beat the tariffs and then slashed prices to unload them. Someone commented that DRHorton puts whirlpool into their homes and they are garbage. As a lower end builder, DHI only puts the base builder builder grade stuff into their homes not the mid to high end appliances. I bought a new dishwasher last year and went with Whirlpool as it had the best overall reviews other than Bosch which is much more expensive. I think this will work out and am also holding onto my shares.
