Hi James, interesting. I am able to look up the price I would pay through my CVS caremark covereage through my employer. I can get a 3 month supply for $20. But that is the price I pay, not the actual price. All generics (except non-formulary) only cost me $20 a month. Brand name drugs cost me a percentage, but with a min and max base price.

I don't 'know any actual pharmacists. If I called someone they would want my insurance and would quote me what I would pay, not what it costs. In my experience it is very hard to get the non-insurance price out of a pharmacists. <removed irrelevant portion>
