Costs of insurance have risen so much that it is too unobtainable for many, and has risen percentage of income needed to own a home to over 50% in many areas. Is the insurance industry price gouging us? Many think so, but the insurance industry as a whole went over a 100 Billion in the red (major loss) in 2024 due to the Climate Crisis, and this year, the costs have already hit a record with much more to come.
