dod, nsa, cybersecurity needed for the successful development and deployment of quantum computing. usa also needs it. i see an investment strategy and wonder who ultimately bought those shares and options and prepaid for them?
at least ionq got some money up front as opposed to other ip i've invested in which was found attractive by usa, i guess.dual purpose discovery and security is a newer thing which investors need to get used to. government needs to adjust their expectations as much as private investors...see nvidia, msft, ibm, etc...gov can't hide the ip anymore and need the development minds and money to advance the work. see elon and tesla and starlink, etc.
