The biggest risk to this ongoing boondoggle is a REAL test of the merits of an NNVC candidate....ANY NNVC candidate. An identifiable failure puts an end to it, just ask Leo Ehrlich (if you can find him).

Better to drag it out.
Add the current charade to the parade of every one of NNVC's previous efforts.

I know my argument has no scientific basis, unless one considers the statistical likelihood of history repeating itself to have some scientific merit.
