No, I think the doctor's opinion was justified at the time. As he points out, most narcissists aren't crazy. A lot of them are C-suite type, successful and reasonably well liked. Admired, at least.

But we don't know what the doctor thinks now. If he thinks anything; he was getting old, so we don't even know whether he's still alive. There are, however, a lot of doctors who do believe Trump is mentally ill. One of them is Bandy Lee. Do some reading here for what she's said about Trump:
