No doubt Mr C. as you suggested, this IS the reason for pushing back the FID timeline estimate! Note the reference to a new contractor. Guessing that the boys were not pleased with the service provided by the old firm.
Also, ego aside, I do believe that based on Administrator Zeldin's office contacting EPA 6, this won't drag on as long as the process might otherwise take. Time is fleeting, madness takes control.....
Our staff has some of the information we requested in our incompleteness letter, but I understand there is still some information EPA staff is awaiting from the company related to their emission estimates, BACT analysis. They have a new contractor working on the application now and hopefully we’ll get that information in the coming weeks where our staff can continue developing the air permits. Our staff does have a skeleton/or framework built for the draft permits. I’m not sure I would say we’re at the end of the pipeline in developing the draft permits quite yet.
