The litigation went on for three (3) years, I'm sure it was mentioned in every 10-K and 10-Q for anyone paying even MINIMAL attention (any material litigation would need to be included). There were multiple defendants, not just Michael Cao, the alleged activities described in the original complaint were crazy. Some time ago I think I saw that Michael's brother who was also included as a defendant, but settled early shortly after the litigation was filed (and gave back his shares to the company--another huge chunk--that was not included in the number in today's press release), is still promoting the technology in question to others... unbelievable! As a legacy shareholder from back in the SPIN days, I'm thankful that the company when discovering the facts behind the technology and the actions of some of the defendants, immediately pursued all the defendants throughout the years, in both federal and state courts, wasted no time to pivot to a different technology and business plan, has been executing on it, and has done some substantial business deals since. Definitely a long term investment. Company very responsive, not what I'm use to!
