I bit the bullet, logged in and opened the thread. It turns out that the guy is a real professional and was just playing games for whatever reason. Supposedly, he tore it all apart and did it the right way but I didn't stick around long enough to see that part.

All in all, that was a really strange structure to be built inside of a shower in the first place and even if done properly, the title setter would have a real challenge trying to deal with that tight of a radius.
