The House on Tuesday soundly rejected Rep. Al Green’s (D-TX) resolution to impeach President Trump for launching strikes against Iran without congressional approval.
The vote was 344–79, with 128 Democrats joining all Republicans to table — or kill — the measure.
Since the resolution was privileged, the chamber was required to act on it within two legislative days, and Republican leaders moved to kill it within hours of its introduction.
