Nova, when a company takes over another company through a merger, the acquiring company agrees to take over ALL debts, assets, litigation, and anything the company has outstanding unless this is separated and agreed to up front. Remember, both COOP and RKT have many actions to finish before the merger can be approved, but they did not list what these actions are so we shall see.
