One of our Alderman's (Alderboobs as an old newspaper writer called them and we have 50 of them in the city unfortunately) nephew got shot and killed years ago. There was a crackdown on crime in that area for about a month. After that it continued into the shooting gallery it's always been. Nothing happens unless one of them are personally involved.
