Fuck the mideast and the religious wars that our moron got conned into participating in again.

Of more interest to me is what is happening in the WNBA. A league where they make about $45k per year as a rank and file player. A college star suddenly bursts on the scene, quadrupling income and attendance. So what do they do? Practically decapitate her in nearly every game.

The only analogy I can think of is the NHL in the 80's. They had a superstar, Gretsky, that was protected even by opponents by mutual consensus. Because they were smart enough to figure out that if he was not injured all the time, he would make them all millionaires, which he largely did. I wish the WNBA would get a grip.
