NexGold Mining Corp. (NEXG.v | NXGCF) announced today that the Government of Nova Scotia has accepted its Industrial Approval (IA) application for the Goldboro Gold Project as complete, triggering a final 60-day review. The IA is one of the last major permits required for mine construction.

Goldboro hosts 1.15Moz in Proven & Probable reserves, with a Feasibility Study outlining ~100,000 oz/year Au production over 10.9 years at US$849/oz AISC. A 25,000m infill program is ongoing, recently returning results up to 25.79 g/t Au over 4.5m.
