Folks, I've read several times in this room about the idea or allusion that BOB has mentioned more than twice.
That one day, after the Coop/RKL merger, a takeover proposal will rain down via the VEVVHIA WM or WMIH. But the interesting question is, how much are the two merged companies worth after the merger? Who paid for the purchase of NSM? Does this mean they paid in advance? If so, then this plan must have been conceived long ago. After all, if that were the case, the old WMI or WMIH would be reborn, but much bigger than before. That would be a real checkmate.
Everyone would be happy: the old shareholders and the new ones in the merger.
The more I think about this idea, the shinier its logic appears.
