I'm not going to argue with you because we basically get along but if the gubbermint shut down that leaves the executive with full authority to open or close any agencies that he or she sees fit. If that would have happened then we would Have Elon running every agency now, instead of the shit that's currently happening which is scary enough.

Did you read about big balls controlling our nuclear facilities? I know that won't last but if it was all shut down then nobody has a leg to stand on in court and even then, that cocksucker might have tried to shut down the courts too.
