Then to the food tables, yum, bought a delicious chocolate fruit muffin and asked where the sausage rolls were, they have always before been side by side. "The sausages are over at the primary school, we are sharing today", the charming volunteer mother said. Ouch, yet another terribly out of breath walk, i thought. But had to have an election sausage and needed some energy. I crossed the road, rounded the back of the building and, whew, there it was - way across the playground. Yum, bought two then headed eating on the way, intent on going shopping as planned. No food in house except half of the cooked spaghetti bol (lol well like it) i was given yesterday. On getting down to my street i paused, leaned against a fence and thought, to shopping then on way home to pub, or straight two blocks home again to drop in on American/Canadian online family here and soon again to sleep?. The later was a good choice. Just minutes ago woke up.

The post election result chat is on tv now. All say it will be close. All conclude some Trump influence will favor Labor. Rough consensus is Albanese and Labor ran a top, tight campaign, though not perfect. And that Dutton with his conservatives did not shape up so well.

I voted for Labor minority government with Greens holding some balance of power. In the precious parliament in Canada a small party, the NDP (which lost tragically in the recent election), forced dentistry into the health system. In that sense i'm in favor of minority government.
