SHEL reports 1Q25 results—commences $3.5B buyback_during_next_3_months:

It is intended that, subject to market conditions, the programme will be completed prior to the Company’s Q2 2025 results announcement, scheduled for July 31, 2025.

Unlike many companies, SHEL actually completes its buyback authorizations within the allotted time. SHEL has repurchased at least $3B of stock for 14 consecutive quarters!

The 1Q25 financial results were anticlimactic insofar as SHEL pre-announced results one month ago (#msg-176030477).
