What is your take on George Soros shorting the British Pound (if you have one)? Were the comments he made about the BP truthful, iyo?

Soros quietly accumulated a large short position against the British currency. Soros then began speaking publicly about his belief that the pound could not be defended. Other speculators started betting against the pound, while investors sought hedges against a collapse in the exchange rate.

Just wondering.
