The whole Canadian govt is going through some very sketchy times right now. Trudeau shuts down the govt for months on end, govt is pretty much disabled, new PM appointed without vote, and they just gave themselves 40bn in funds with no public weight. Canada is being pretty off-putting right now. (Of course, double check these facts.)
