A depression could cause the market to go down much further than 50%. It went down 50% during the 2000 tech bubble burst and the 2008 GFC. It went down 80% during the Great Depression with tariffs.

I work for FED EX express. They just cut all overtime for employees! And they are cutting benefits as well.
