McKinley was about to end tariffs as they had achieved their goal,,,,,Unfortunately Teddy R whom I like and respect for his fighting for working people and against corporations.... But he did not follow McKinley's wishes to begin to curtail tariffs as he stated in his last speech.........hence the problem of keeping tariffs too long...

If your going to research, do it all the way, plenty of examples of tariffs working to even the playing field....

That is unless you think the global race to the bottom is a good thing...Or you don't want to see the lower and middle classes of America prosper again....There is always Hanauer's pitchforks, lol
