No need for any sorry. Whatever people think of them now or later does not say they were wrong. LOL i was influenced by the reasons Schumer gave. And again i haven't heard a single good point here in opposition to those reasons. Chuckle, i agree no point in debating the point if you won't deal directly with the facts given in Schumer's reasons for his change of heart. Imagine how difficult that was for him. You're right though that does not make his decision the right one.

Fact that Musk wanted a shutdown because he knew it would give him more freedom to do what he wanted to do. Fact that dems during a shutdown could not appeal to courts. Those are two crucial facts for my position.

Forget about being learned and all that crap. You are much more learned than i am in likely more ways than i than you.

You haven't addressed at all even the two points i just repeated.

I get the numbers thing but more voted for Trump than Hillary and that doesn't make that decision right.

Again though it can never be proved whose position was the right one. It though would help your position
if you at least would address directly the reasons Schumer gave. You haven't yet done that.
