Seems Trump doesn't care about all that. And Ivanka herself has played along on those TV shows, and in all those photos. Surely she realized other kids' fathers didn't do that stuff. But then she craved his love. When her parents divorced, she was sent away to school, as were her brothers. She says she called Daddy every day at lunchtime, and he always made a point of talking to her, even if he was busy.

Don Jr, on the other hand, refused to speak to his father for several years.

During Trump's first term, Ivanka said defensively, "My father isn't a groper!" The way he behaves generally, and the accounts of several dozen women suggest that he's a classic groper, and worse. But I suppose Ivanka doesn't want to see that. After all, she's aware of his very public stories of how he walked into the dressing rooms of the Miss Teen USA contestants. I wonder if she and her therapist have discussed that.
