A second Republican who had heard about Musk’s desire for a government shutdown tells WIRED that the billionaire’s goal is for the continuing resolution—a spending bill to temporarily fund the government—to tank, if only to achieve a brief government shutdown.

And thats the fucking point. It wouldn't have stayed shut down because the gop nazi's would have had to drop shit from the bill. They knew this and now because of some lame stupid dems they get everything they want. What people aren't catching is the bills they put in there to take away the rest of the courts power to hold the coup responsible. It wasn't about fucking musk, and he used simple fear tactics and old fuck shruumer fell for it because he thinks this is normal government.
